Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed on Monday ordered for shopping malls to be opened across the country.Hearing the suo motu case on the coronavirus crisis the chief justice questioned why shopping malls were asked to stay closed when markets were open.He further directed the provinces to allow markets and shopping malls to remain open during the weekends as well till Eid.Provinces had previously allowed markets to resume business for five days a week, imposing a strict lockdown on the weekends to curb the spread of the virusSummoning Sindh chief secretary the chief justice asked the provincial government to unseal all the shops that were closed for violating the set SOPs.
